Boots No7 Beautiful Skin review

This is the 4th and final product I'll be reviewing from the Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox(but I did receive 3 other products I am not reviewing /:

So here is my review for the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin products:

I got the cleansing balm and the night cream(as you can see from the picture above) and I really liked them. I'm not huge on creams except for moisturizers, but my skin gets very dry in the winter so these came at the perfect time. I also love that they are hypo-allergenic so my boyfriend can use them as well. I got them for FREE from Influenster for testing/reviewing purposes.

Here is what Influenster/Boots had to say about these products:

"Beautiful Skin - the newest and easy to use two-step range of everyday skincare cleansers and moisturizers, tailored to your specific skin type eliminating the need for toners. Products are color-coded, making it easy to find just the right products for your skin type: Normal/Oily (Pink), Normal/Dry (Green) and Dry/Very Dry (Lilac)"

"Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm Dry/Very Dry
A gentle, non-drying balm that cleverly dissolves make-up and impurities to help keep skin looking clear and healthy. Works in one simple step leaving no residue, just perfectly clean, soft and supple skin. It includes replenishing ceramides to help nourish dry skin and Glycerin and cocoa butter for deeper hydration.

How to Use
Spread a little cleanser between fingertips and palms of hands. Massage into the skin, working upwards across the neck and face, avoiding the eye area for about 20-30 seconds.

Best applied to dry skin, massage upward and across the skin using cotton or wool, avoiding the eye area, and wipe off."

For their night cream:

"Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream Dry/Very Dry:
Instantly nourishes and promotes optimum hydration for healthy-looking radiant skin. making it less likely to be dry in the future. Containing additional moisturizing properties, this is exactly the care dry skin needs overnight to ensure you wake up with nourished and healthy looking skin. Glycerin, Shea butter and ceramides are added to the formulas leaving it incredibly smooth. Designed to work in harmony with your skin, replacing lost moisture and leaving you with healthy looking radiant skin.

How to Use:
Smooth into your face and neck after cleansing every evening"

So as I mentioned, I really liked these skin care products. They aren't too expensive either, the Night Cream is $13.99 and the Cleanser is $8.49.

Have you tried these products? Do you like them, anything you didn't like?

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit

This is the 3rd product I'm reviewing from the Influenster voxbox! I'll be reviewing the Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit(which I got for FREE from Influenster to review/test):

This is what Influenster and Kiss say about this product:

"Made from highest quality human hair. Use with Kiss adhesive for optimal results. Latex free, odor free, waterproof, flexible formula for 24hr hold, easy applicator."

"Ever tried applying eyelashes but became frustrated when they didn’t position correctly? Only to remove them and start over? Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit provides everything you need for amazing lashes instantly! Each kit includes 1 pair of Eyelashes, 1 3g Adhesive, and 1 PRO Lash Applicator. The new PRO Lash Applicator allows for a flawless application every time! Kiss lashes come in a variety of styles that are perfect for everything from day wear to a formal evening event.

To Use: Simply apply glue to the lash band and let set for 30-60 seconds for adhesive to become slightly clear and tacky. Using the PRO Lash Applicator, apply lashes along the natural lash line. Hold, allowing adhesive to dry completely. Do the same to the second eyelash. Both lashes have a perfect fit!

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit retails for $4.99 and are available at Walgreens stores nationwide. For more information and how-to videos, visit EverEZlashes.com."

I love false lashes, so they never hurt to get, especially for free :D The only part of the product I didn't love was a.) the applicator isn't necessary for me, it just kind of got in the way(but I can see how some people may LOVE it) and b.) the glue just isn't as good as Duo Lash glue, but I did love the glue applicator it came with, made it easier to apply to the lashes.

Have any of you tried these? How did you feel about them? Comment below and let me know!

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact

As I mentioned in my previous post, I got the Beauty Blogger Voxbox from Influenster. It's a FREE box that we get for participating in past boxes and being active in social media.

The next product I'm reviewing is the NYC Individual Eyes Custom Compact:

According to the Influesnter and NYC, here is a description of the product:

"Straight from the city that never sleeps, NYC New York Color offers products with uptown style at down-to-earth prices, from $.99 - $4.99. The energy, style, and color of New York City shines through the wide range of shades, textures and innovative products. NYC always delivers the most on-trend products & shades hot off the runway!"

"NYC New York Color's all-in-one compact gives you everything you need for a complete eye look: primer, illuminator, applicator and complementing shadows. With four vibrant colors designed for your eye color, you can create a look as individual as you are!"

This is the product I liked least in my VoxBox. I do like the colors that are in it, however, I don't see how it is very individualized for peoples eyes. Also, the pigmentation of the shadows are nice, but the layout of the palette makes it so the shadow dust gets into the illuminator and primer. The thing I liked the least in this palette are the illuminator and the primer. They just did not work well. The primer was way too oily for me, and the illuminator just didn't work. It made my eyeshadow look worse.

Overall, for the price($4.99) the product isn't horrible, but I wouldn't purchase this for myself. How do you guys feel about this palette(those of you who have tried it?)

Bath & Body Works Fall Mini Candle

So as some of you may know, I am part of a program called Influenster. Basically you stay social in social media and keep your score up high(they recently changed this) and you get FREE boxes of goodies that are themed. They switch up the theme every box.

This box that I got was the Beauty Blogger Voxbox and it had a whole lot of awesome goodies. In this post I'm gonna go over the Bath & Body Works Fall Mini Candle that I received.

According to Influenster/Bath & Body Works this is the description of the candle:
"Highly fragranced candle exclusively developed and tested by our team of Home Fragrance experts, including the world's best master perfumers. Made using the highest concentration of fragrance oils, an exclusive blend of vegetable wax and lead-free wicks for optimal performance"

"Mini but Mighty! Our Mini Candles provide an amazing fragrance experience exclusively developed and tested by our team of Home Fragrance experts, including the world's best master perfumers. Now in an elegant glass container, these are the perfect size for trialing all our fall home fragrances! Mini Candles burn approximately 15 hours."

So I got this candle for FREE from Influenster and I really liked it. The biggest downfall with it is that it doesn't last very long. I had it burning for about 3 hours and it was already done, but it IS a mini candle, so that's the point I guess. They do say in the description it should last 15 hrs. I really don't feel like that is the case, but I may have done something wrong for all I know.

It did smell wonderfully so that was great, and they aren't expensive! They are $3.50 for the mini ones. You can also buy the small ones for $9.50 and the medium sized ones for $12.50. They also offer 3-Wick ones for $19.50(and in my Influenster box I got a coupon for a 3-Wick one for $10!)

Did any of you get the Beauty Blogger Voxbox? How did you feel about it?

Subscribe to my blog, and I'll have all the other product reviews coming up next!

Unreal Candy

So I am a Bzz Reporter for BzzAgent, it's an awesome site where you take surveys and if you qualify they send you free stuff to test out and then talk about.

My 1st one was this Unreal candy campagin. All of the candy is made out of 100% natural ingredients. Most importantly there is no corn syrup. Already healthier for you then every other candy out there. But on top of that, all other ingredients are natural also, the color is done with things like beets(sounds gross but it doesnt TASTE like beet :p). There is fiber and protein in all of the candies which is impressive.

I wouldn't rave about it unless I really liked it. You guys should know I give my honest opinion. I though it was great and I really do think I will be buying only these candies from now on when I'm craving a sweet tooth.

As always recommendations, requests, and all the good stuff is very much appreciated!

My Mineral Eyeshadow Look(GDE,BFTE,s.a.l.t.y)

Here's a quick look I did with 2 of my fav. mineral eyeshadow companies and also s.a.l.t.y cosmetics which I received from MyGlam, it's definitely a good mineral eyeshadow, but not so amazing I'd buy it instead of GDE or BFTE.

I did swatches of all of the shadows I used for this look 1st. I definitely love GDE and BFTE the most. You can tell even from the pictures how amazingly crazy their colors are!

Here they are:

I specifically kept this dark to show you how AWESOME specifically GDE looks(the middle color) but also BFTE's color)
Left 2 are Addicted by BFTE, middle 2 are Bronzed Goddess by GDE and right 2 are GLAMA-Zoid! by s.a.l.t.y

The left color of the 2 is dry, the right is wet

Addicted by BFTE(top dry, bottom wet)

Bronzed Goddess by Glamour Doll Eyes(GDE)

GLAMA-Zoid! by s.a.l.t.y

Anyway here is the look(picture heavy beware!):

Primed my lid with NYX JEP in milk, then as a base from the lash line to the browbone I used Bronzed Goddess by GDE, then I used BFTE's Addicted in my crease. Then I used Marbella Permenant eyeliner to line my lashline and used NYX black eyeliner to line the waterline. Then I used s.a.l.t.y in GLAMA-zoid! just on the middle section if the black liner(it's the purple looking part). The final step was using Maybelline's Falsies and Colossal as mascara.

On my lips I'm wearing the Glam Gloss I got in my August MyGlam bag.
