NYX/Revlon Lip Butters Swatches

From left to right: Black bean, milk, yogurt, cashmere, gold, rust, oyster, rocky mountain green, Revlon Lip Butters: Berry Smoothie, Tutti Frutti, Cherry Tart

Black Bean, Milk, Yogurt, Cashmere, Gold, Rust

Oyster, Rocky Mountain Green, Revlon Lip Butters: Berry Smoothie, Tutti Frutti, and Cherry Tart

So overall, I love the pigmentation of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils, BUT the reallly crease. I found that I not only had to wear a primer under them but I also used these as a base and usually put eyeshadow over to set them. I think my eyelids just get more oily then I thought, but that was a sad thing I discovered /: I LOVE the Revlon Lip Butters. Tutti Frutti is my favorite, with Cherry Tart a close 2nd. Berry Smoothie is nothing special though.

Zoya Nail Polish Swatches!

Hello all!!! I am back, feeling better, and brining you a promised blog on Zoya nail polish swatches. I am OBSESSED with these polishes. I like them much more then OPI and almost all other nail polishes that I've tried, the only company that (to me) compares(and I'm talking just formula, b/c color selection wise, I think Zoya has an unbelievable selection) is Essie. I'm a big fan of Essie, but I think Zoya is better.

I've heard really good things about Butter London as well, but at $14 a bottle, I can't bring myself to buy it! :O It is just so expensive, but I've heard it's worth it.

Anyway so Zoya had a Earth Day sale(that they do every year I believe) and with their promo code, you could get ANY nail polish from them, for 50% off. That is an awesome sale. Usually their polishes is $8, which is still kinda pricey, so getting it for $4 was a great deal I had to jump at. The idea of the Earth Day sale is that they send you the nail polishes you order for the less expensive price, but they hope that you will return the same amount of nail polishes(from DIFFERENT companies) and they will recycle them for you.

I fear that most people probably use the sale and don't return polishes. I would recommend not doing that, because if no one ever returns anything, they probably will stop the sale. I bought 8 polishes and sent them 8 that got old and dried out, or colors I didn't necessarily care for, enough babbling for now here are the swatches(with reviews below):

Preface: I wasn't trying to be professional, don't mind that the polish is all up in my cuticles too :p
Also, I'm going to give the descriptions of all these colors according to the Zoya website.

"Mitzi can be best described as: Funky murky light yellow-toned lime green cream with a velvety matte finish.  A new edgy, fun, bright type of matte for a retro mod look."

I LOVE this color and the fact that it is matte, SO cool, but it was by far the hardest formula to work with. Took about 3 coats and I have to do them carefully. Since it dries very quickly(another plus and somewhat of a con) you need to apply this carefully. I love this color though, I plan on getting the rest of the matte collection.

"Raven can be best described as: Intense satiny black balanced by very subtle silver shimmer. The ultimate high-fashion accessory that goes with everything."

I'm a huge fan of black polish, it goes with everything, very classy(in my opinion). I also really do like the touch of silver shimmer because it's VERY subtle, but beautiful. This was the best formula, went on almost fully opaque with only one coat.

"Cho is an opaque yellow-toned light soft peachy beige with a hint of ultra fine silver shimmer. A light, creamy nude especially nice for skin tones with olive or yellow undertones."

This is my 2nd fav. out of the bunch. I'm always looking for  a perfect light pink/nude(like what they use for french manicures) but I can never find one. This still isn't perfect but I still really like it. I actually highly recommend trying this color of all of them. I think it's the most universal of the ones I swatched here.

Description below swatches

"Paz can be best described as: Ultra-bright glowing neon traffic-cone orange creme. This outrageous shade is sure to stop traffic."

The description is VERY accurate. This is SUCH a neon orange and I love it. I'm not sure how practical it is, but I'm very rarely practical with my style. I love neons and bright colors so this is right up my ally. Also pretty opaque in application, 2 coats for this and I'm not sure it was necessary.
Description below swatches

"Dree can be best described as: A light, dusty drab olive green with yellow tones and a touch of grey. Brings the look of camouflage to your nails for a subtle green look."

I completely agree with their description. This is probably my fav. color of all that I go. Also, just a fun fact, the picture I took of this color(only) is after 2 days of use, NO chipping, and I didn't use a base OR top coat. Amazing formula. This color is very opaque and I only used 2 coats.
"Annie can be best described as: A saturated coral-orange with slight red undertones, strong gold shimmer and slight bright green duochrome. A colorful counterpoint for bold prints and button-downs alike."

I'm currently wearing this nail polish. I do think it's cute and I like it. I'm not in love, but it is a nice duochrome. It's also very good for summer, so perfect timing!

I couldn't write next to the swatches for Midori or Sienna, Blogger is being annoying, I need to learn to work with this more, but either way the descriptions/reviews are below.

"Midori can be best described as: Glowing medium apple green with yellow undertones and strong gold shimmer. A cocktail-green for a night out with the girls."

-Such a cute green!!! Green is my favorite color, so I will like anything green that I get. Not as awesome as Dree OR Mitzi for me though.

"Sienna can be best described as: Bright saturated orange with flaky gold and silver glitter. An easy to wear orange to brighten your day."

-Probably my least favorite of the bunch. It's still ok, but there are SO many more color from Zoya I'd prefer. I'm sure it will be in use.

Again, I love Zoya I would highly recommend getting some polishes from them. Click here to check out their site. I am in NO way affiliated with them, I purchased these myself and have no contact with Zoya, I'm just a big fan!
