Red Carpet Look

Hey!! So here is my Red Carpet Look. I filmed this video for the Destination Beauty contest that was going on for the "Next Youtube Beauty Guru." I am most definitely not going to win, some of the other girls' videos were AMAZING. I just love doing makeup so filming for anything works for me!

I know it's pretty rushed, that's because the video had to be in 4 min. or less! Isn't that absurd. It took me about 15 min. to actually film the look. I probably could have done it quicker, but I didn't :p

I also had to re-record when I was doing my lips, so when I did them, I actually already had gloss on!!! OH well, at least you got to see how I did it :p

Let me know what you think!!!!

The products I used were:

Eyes-

1.) Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
2.) Sephora Pencil Eyeliner in White
3.) Urban Decay Naked Palette colors:
      - Lid(and inner corner): Half Baked
      - Crease: Buck
      - Outer V: Hustle
      - Highlight: Virgin
4.) Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner in Perversion
5.) Stila Pencil Liner in Purple Tang
6.) Urban Decay Curling Mascara

Lips-

1.) mark. Lip Stain in Cherry
2.) Juicy Beauty Lip Gloss in Organic Champagne

Face-

1.) mark. Get a Tint tined moisturizer in Buff/Natural
2.) The Body Shop Duo highlighter
3.) NARS Bronzer in Laguna
4.) Lancome Blush in Rouge Glow
5.) MAC Fix It Setting Spray

I need suggestions. What kind of looks are you guys looking for?!?! I want to do them! :p

NAKED palette tutorial!

Hey folks! So here's a picture of  a look I did with my NAKED palette from Urban Decay, I'll have one up soon for NAKED2, it's equally an awesome palette. I know a lot of people didn't love the colors compared to the 1st NAKED but I disagree, I'm a big fan :D

Sorry it's so picture heavy! I'm still new at this and I don't know how to get the best lighting or angle.

Anyway, so I started off priming my eye with MAC's Nubile paint pot. Then I took the shade "toasted"(using the brush that came with the palette, just a flat shader brush) and I just put that color all over the lid, but not above the crease. Then I took the matte shade "buck" with a blending brush, and put it in the crease. Then using the same flat shader brush that came in the palette, I used the color "darkhorse" right between where I put the 1st 2 colors. Then I used the color "hustle" and put that on the outer "v" of my eye and just blended out. For a highlight color I used the color "virgin" are just put it right above where I already placed all the colors(make sure to blend!) all the way up to the brow bone.

Then on to my favorite part. Everyone knows that I love eyeliner on top. So I just used a small detailed eyeliner brush with Sephora's cream eyeliner in "Must Have".  Start in the middle, go out and make the angle, then go back and finish from the inside. Then ontop of that I put the color "creep" from the palette just over the line of the eyeliner. I also brought that down a little to the bottom lash line.

Then I curled my lashes using Sephora's eyelash curler, and I used L'Oreal's Voluminous mascara in "black" and L'Oreal's Million Lashes in "Carbon Black."

Again I apologize for the pictures, they aren't done very well, but I'm getting better! I'm also investing in a webcam, and then I'll be making video tutorials!!! :D
